Since the inception of Make Way Ministries, we have felt that the Lord was calling us to do a deeper work to raise up evangelists and missionaries. Through a series of events and confirmations, the Lord has directed us to transition our ministry to Brazil to start a ministry training school.
Grounded in The Word
We believe that men and women who are well-grounded on the truths of the Bible and whose character is shaped to match their gifting will be most effective in long-term ministry. We see that there is danger in allowing ministers to be promoted and celebrated for their talents and giftings at the expense of their character. Our school will be designed to shape both the heart and the gifts of our students.
Anointed by the Spirit
Soul-harvesters need to be anointed and empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the work of evangelism. They need to be trained to share the Gospel not only in word, but also in the power of the Spirit. Our students will be encouraged to take steps of faith, to grow in their spiritual gifts and to operate in the anointing of the Spirit to carry out the work of the ministry.
Where We Head From Here
In obedience to the Lord’s call, our family is now in the process of transitioning to Brazil to begin the work of planting the training school. On our first term, we will establish our ministry in Brazil, learn the culture, study Portuguese and begin the planning stages of the work. We will continue to do the work of an evangelist, preaching in churches and spreading the Gospel. We will be there for several months and then return to Ohio for several months to continue our stateside ministry before returning to Brazil. Will you partner with us?
